A New Discovery Channel Show Will Document A Man Being ‘Eaten Alive’ By An Anaconda
Paul Rosolie, a wildlife expert, has signed up to wear a custom-made ‘snake-proof’ suit and then let himself be ‘eaten alive’ by an anaconda on TV. The stunt will be documented in a new Discovery Channelshow called “Eaten Alive.”

A bit of intel on anacondas: They are very large snakes found in South America. The term usually refers to green anacondas, which can grow to as long as 22 feet. They live in or near water and tend to suffocate prey by constricting their bodies around their victims.

While further details are scarce, the promotional page on Discovery’s website simply states: “Naturalist and wildlife filmmaker Paul Rosolie enters the belly of an anaconda in a custom-built snake-proof suit.” We’re most definitely tuning in to this one.

“ It’s possible to buy fabric that protects from smaller snake bites , but it certainly wouldn’t protect a human from the immense pressure of a powerful snake’s constriction.”
We’re not exactly hoping that something goes wrong — all we’re saying is it would make for good television.
